Tinubu Offers Special Prayer In Makkah, Asks Allah To Turn Nigeria’s Diversity Into Prosperity
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has offered prayers for Nigeria’s unity, peace and prosperity, calling on Almighty Allah to transform the country’s ethnic, religious and cultural diversity into a source of strength, development and shared prosperity.
The President made the appeal on Sunday during a dinner with members of his delegation in the holy city of Makkah, Saudi Arabia, according to a statement by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga.
According to Bush Radio Academy, Tinubu expressed hope that Nigeria’s diversity would continue to promote national progress rather than become a source of division, urging citizens to embrace mutual understanding, peaceful coexistence and a collective commitment to building a better country.
The President also prayed for lasting peace, harmony and economic prosperity, while asking Almighty Allah to grant Nigerian leaders the wisdom, courage and foresight needed to guide the country towards sustainable development and improved living conditions.
He further sought divine protection for Nigerians both at home and abroad, praying that the bonds of brotherhood among citizens would grow stronger and that people would demonstrate greater patriotism, compassion and dedication to national service.
Tinubu noted that Nigeria’s abundant natural and human resources, alongside the creativity, talents and entrepreneurial abilities of its diverse population, provided the foundation for building an inclusive and prosperous nation.
He also called on Nigerians, irrespective of their religious beliefs, ethnic backgrounds or cultural differences, to continue working together in the national interest, expressing confidence that unity of purpose and collective determination would help the country overcome its challenges.
