The announcement, conveyed through a statement by the president’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, underscores the administration’s determination to introduce global standards to the Nigerian public health sector.

Among the notable appointments are Dr Mansur Kabir as the board chairman and Prof. Moji Adeyeye as the chief executive officer of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).

Additionally, President Tinubu has given approval for the appointment of Dr Olajide Idris as the new chief executive officer for the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
