Tinubu Warns APC Campaign Council: Your Efforts Will Count Only If You Deliver Votes In 2027

President Bola Tinubu has described himself as the “errand man” of the All Progressives Congress (APC), pledging full commitment to implementing the party’s manifesto and fulfilling its promises ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Tinubu made the declaration on Wednesday during the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The President assured party members that he would remain committed to the APC’s objectives, promises and policy agenda, urging them to work collectively towards achieving the party’s goals.

“ To me, I am your errand man,” Tinubu said, reaffirming his commitment to the party’s manifesto and its promises to Nigerians.

Tinubu also commended APC leaders and members at all levels for successfully conducting the party’s congresses and primary elections, despite predictions by political opponents that the exercise would trigger internal divisions.

He noted that the party had emerged stronger from the process, insisting that the anticipated crisis had not materialised.

The President said the newly inaugurated campaign council would be responsible for taking the APC’s achievements, vision and policy agenda to Nigerians across the country.

According to him, the party was entering the next election cycle in a stronger and more united position, with a renewed commitment to its responsibilities as Nigeria’s governing party.

Tinubu urged members of the campaign council to intensify mobilisation efforts in their respective wards, stressing that their work would only be meaningful if it translated into votes for the APC in the 2027 elections.

He reminded party members of the support they provided during the previous election, adding that they must demonstrate the same commitment by securing electoral victories in the next poll.

The President also assured Nigerians that his administration and the APC would strive to fulfil their promises, declaring that the party must not disappoint the electorate.
