Big Brother Naija alumna and DJ, Tolani Baj, recently shared her admiration for the well-known crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky. She expressed her appreciation for Bobrisky’s ability to freely choose the gender identity he wishes to embody at any given time. Tolani Baj made these remarks in a preview of the upcoming episode of the Bahd and Boujee Podcast, which she co-hosts with actress Moet Abebe.

Highlighting Bobrisky’s versatility in assuming various personas, Tolani Baj stated, “This is why I love Bobrisky, right? Bobrisky wakes up and plays a character; he, she, baby, whatever pronoun he likes.”

Bobrisky, who identifies as a transgender woman, acknowledged his biological sex as male during a court appearance on Friday related to charges of currency abuse and fraud. Despite this admission, there had been speculation regarding which section of the prison he would be housed in during his six-month sentence.

However, the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) clarified that Bobrisky would be lodged in the male section of Ikoyi prison for the duration of his sentence. They assured that he would receive protection from potential harassment, emphasizing that since he had affirmed his male identity in court, they would adhere to that designation.

This decision aims to safeguard Bobrisky’s well-being while serving his sentence and ensure his protection from any potential threats.
