Sani called for the withdrawal of the security agents currently occupying the Labour House, stating on X: “The invasion of the NLC headquarters is needless, unconscionable, and condemnable. It must have been driven by false information or the actions of an agent provocateur. The security agents reportedly stationed at the Labour House should be withdrawn.”

According to DAILY POST, the NLC has expressed alarm over the reported raid by security agencies. In a statement issued by Comrade Benson Upah, Head of Media and Public Relations, and shared on its official X handle, the union claimed that a group of heavily armed security operatives had stormed the Labour House in Abuja’s Central Business District. The NLC has called for the immediate withdrawal of the federal armed security forces from its premises.
