During inspections by Ministry officials, it was found that two Colleges failed to meet the required meal standards for students. As a result, the Principals of the affected schools have been recalled to the Ministry’s headquarters for further investigation.
“To enforce strict adherence to feeding standards and student welfare, senior Ministry officials have been deployed to oversee operations at the affected Colleges while the inquiry is ongoing. Additionally, the Ministry has launched a nationwide assessment of all Federal Unity Colleges to evaluate the quality of meals and overall student care,” the statement read.
Aluasa reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to maintaining high standards in its Colleges, ensuring that students receive proper nutrition and care essential for their academic and personal growth.
