Tyler Perry Breaks Silence On Marriage, Reveals The Shocking Reason He Won’t Wed

American filmmaker and actor Tyler Perry has revealed that he has no plans to get married, explaining that his concern is not marriage itself but the financial consequences he has witnessed people face following divorce.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the 57-year-old entertainment mogul made the revelation while appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show as he promoted his latest film, Why Did I Get Married Again?, the latest instalment in his popular marriage-themed movie franchise.

Speaking about his decision to remain unmarried, Perry said his views had been shaped by the experiences of people around him who suffered significant financial setbacks after their marriages ended in divorce.

He explained that he had seen people who were financially successful experience serious losses following divorce, which influenced his decision to remain single.

Perry has previously spoken about keeping his personal relationships private and has maintained that he is not interested in marriage. He has one son, Aman, with his former partner, Gelila Bekele.

The actor’s latest comments have generated conversations, particularly because of the contrast between his personal decision to remain single and the recurring focus on love, marriage and relationship challenges in many of his films.

His latest movie, Why Did I Get Married Again?, continues the storyline of characters from his earlier films and explores the complexities of relationships and marriage.
