UniAbuja’s 28th Convocation: 41 Graduates Emerge with First Class Honors

The convocation, scheduled for Saturday, February 17, 2024, promises to be a momentous occasion for both the university and the graduating students.

In a pre-convocation briefing held in Abuja, the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah, shared the exciting news of the academic accomplishments. Out of a total of 9,172 graduating students, these 41 individuals have distinguished themselves through their outstanding academic performance, earning the highest degree of academic recognition.

The Vice Chancellor provided a comprehensive breakdown of the graduating class, revealing that a majority of the graduates hail from undergraduate programs, while others have completed post-graduate studies. Additionally, he highlighted the diverse academic achievements within the graduating cohort, including distinctions in various degree classifications and fields of study.

Prof. Na’Allah also took the opportunity to showcase the institution’s recent achievements and advancements. He announced the establishment of new facilities and the unbundling of the Mass Communication program into seven distinct departments, reflecting the university’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation.

Moreover, the Vice Chancellor revealed that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has granted approval for the launch of the university’s micro-finance bank, signaling a significant milestone in the institution’s growth and development.
