The feud escalated after a viral video surfaced showing Regina in tears, claiming she was being assaulted — an allegation Nwoko later denied, labeling her a “drug addict” in need of rehab.

Despite Regina’s repeated pleas for help over her brother’s detention, many online critics have mocked her, claiming she once flaunted her husband’s wealth but now seeks sympathy.

Reacting via a video on her Instagram Story, the mother of two slammed those trolling her pain, questioning whether they expected her to publicly display her abuse.

She said:

“It’s fine to laugh and say, ‘When she was flaunting her husband’s wealth, were we enjoying it with her?’ But nobody ever flaunts their sadness. You know why? Because of mockery. As long as you’re not in my shoes, you’ll never understand. What did you expect — that I should’ve recorded when I was being beaten? That I should show that I was sad? No.”
