Uzor Arukwe Breaks Silence On Gay Rumors: ‘I Love Them To Death
Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has opened up about the moment he was hit with rumours concerning his sexuality, admitting that the speculation initially left him stunned.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Speaking during an appearance on the ‘Unfiltered and Extra Spicy’ podcast, Arukwe revealed that although the rumour shocked him, he was also oddly thrilled by it, thinking it might be a sign that he was finally gaining public attention.
He firmly denied the claim of being gay, stating that if it were true, he would have had no reason to hide it and would proudly own it.
The actor also expressed deep affection and respect for his gay friends, stressing that he does not judge anyone based on their sexual orientation.
“The wildest rumour I’ve heard about myself was that I’m gay. It shook me to my core. But oddly, I was a bit excited too—people say when those kinds of rumours start flying, it means you’re about to blow. So I thought, ‘Maybe this is my moment.’
“I have many gay friends, and I love them dearly. I know their sexuality, and I respect them. I have no issues with them at all. But I won’t claim something that isn’t true just because some people assume a certain narrative. At the end of the day, it’s up to God to judge.”
