VeryDarkMan, Apostle Arome Saga: Jeremiah Fufeyin Finally Speaks Out

Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin has spoken amid the ongoing public controversy involving social media activist VeryDarkMan and Apostle Arome Osayi, urging Christians not to celebrate when fellow believers come under attack.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Fufeyin addressed the issue in a video message in which he expressed concern over what he described as growing divisions within the Christian community, particularly in Nigeria.

The cleric called on Christians to support one another during difficult moments rather than celebrate the challenges or controversies facing fellow believers.

Fufeyin said he was concerned about the state of unity within the Christian community, noting that the situation was different from what he believed the body of Christ should represent.

“Wow, I can’t believe this. The body of Christ I know is one. But today the body of Christ has been divided. Especially Nigerians,” he said.

While appearing to reference the criticism currently surrounding Apostle Arome, Fufeyin also drew a comparison with an earlier controversy involving him.

He recalled a period when he faced intense criticism, saying some people celebrated what he described as attacks against him instead of showing concern.

“The time when this bullet came to Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, everyone was celebrating vivacious instead of lamenting. One thing I want you to know is that God is not mocked,” Fufeyin said.

The prophet further encouraged Christians to stand by one another when they encounter difficulties, using an analogy to emphasise the importance of offering support rather than adding to another believer’s troubles.

“When you see your brother’s bear bear catching fire, you as a brother have to use fire extinguisher to support,” he said.

Fufeyin also warned that what he described as negative energy directed at one Christian could eventually affect others within the wider Christian community.

“So listen, this catastrophic act is coming to all Christians. This the same negative energy that affected Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin is coming to all of you,” he said.

His comments come amid the ongoing public exchange involving VeryDarkMan and Apostle Arome, with the social media activist making several claims and criticisms concerning the cleric.

Fufeyin has also had previous public disagreements with VeryDarkMan, making his latest intervention particularly notable as the current controversy continues to generate reactions.

Rather than directly taking sides in the dispute, Fufeyin used his remarks to call for greater unity among Christians and urged believers not to celebrate when another member of the faith faces criticism, controversy or other difficulties.
