In a heartening display of approval and admiration, Governor Babagana Zulum was met with an overwhelming crowd during his visit to Biu Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State. Residents and supporters thronged the streets, eager to get a glimpse of their leader and extend their heartfelt appreciation for his continuous commitment to the betterment of the state. The reason for Governor Zulum’s visit was significant. He was in Biu LGA to commission a newly constructed Skills Acquisition Training Centre, a testament to his administration’s dedication to creating avenues for skill development and employment for the youths of Borno State.

The training center is expected to play a pivotal role in equipping the residents, particularly the youth, with diverse vocational skills. Such training is projected to not only enhance individual capabilities but also reduce unemployment and provide a more robust economic base for the LGA and the state at large.
