Video: Shaibu Engages In Spiritual Rituals Prior To Resuming At His New Office

The dispute between Shaibu and Obaseki stemmed from Shaibu’s gubernatorial aspirations to succeed Obaseki once his term was completed, which the governor openly disapproved of.
This discord led to Obaseki moving the deputy governor’s office out of the government house, dissolving his media team, and removing him from his supervisory role over the state’s revenue generation agencies.
However, the two reconciled their differences after Shaibu publicly apologized to Obaseki. In a video shared by TVC, more than ten priests were seen praying, offering blessings, and using holy water to sanctify the premises both inside and outside. Meanwhile, other voices could be heard singing hymns and various songs during the ceremony.
