Davido had earlier hinted about the expensive purchase on his Twitter, mentioning, “Timeless piece being delivered tomorrow right in time for the 2nd phase of the tour!! Spent bout half a mill £ on it… God is Good.”
This year marked Davido’s return to the spotlight after a brief hiatus towards the end of last year due to personal reasons. He made a stellar comeback with the release of his album, “Timeless,” which has been garnering massive streams and rave reviews. The success of the album and the subsequent windfall it has brought appears to be part of the reason behind Davido’s recent splurge.
