Viral Video Residents Beat Cable Thieves In Ibadan, Tie Them To Electric Pole

In Amuloko area of the Ona-Ara Local Government Area, Oyo State, two cable thieves were apprehended and severely beaten by residents.

The suspects were caught on Sunday, June 9, 2024, while transporting the stolen electric cable on a motorcycle.

After their capture, the thieves were stripped of their clothing and bound to electric poles.

Lekan, one of the apprehended suspects, confessed that they had traveled from Oremeji area of Ibadan to carry out the criminal act.
