We Can’t Trust Them!” Edo APC Raises Alarm Over Alleged PDP Conspiracy

In a statement released on Friday and signed by the State Chairman, Jarret Tenebe, the APC raised concerns about potential manipulation of the judicial process by the opposition.

Tenebe stated:
“As Chairman of the APC in Edo State, I am deeply troubled by developments surrounding the Governorship Tribunal case. This case is critical to the integrity of our democratic system, the rule of law, and the rights of the electorate.

“We call on all party members and the public to remain vigilant and keep a close watch on proceedings. We must not allow the opposition PDP and its desperate candidate, Asue Ighodalo, to interfere with the process.

“After their attempt on Wednesday to disrupt Tribunal proceedings using thugs, they have proven themselves untrustworthy. Our vigilance must remain unwavering.

“We also urge the Judiciary to uphold impartiality and fairness, ensuring all parties receive equitable treatment. It is imperative that everyone involved conducts themselves with dignity and refrains from actions that could undermine the judicial process.”

Tenebe affirmed the APC’s commitment to closely monitoring the Tribunal’s proceedings and taking all necessary measures to protect the rights and interests of the party and its candidate, Governor Monday Okpebholo.
