Speaking to State House Correspondents, Rabiu stated, “The price that we have set will be N3,500 per bag, ex-factory, plus VAT, and then delivered to customers depending on the region.” He explained that the delivery cost would vary based on the distance from the company’s factories in Edo and Sokoto states to the customer’s location, acknowledging that the price might change accordingly.

Addressing expansion plans, Rabiu mentioned the inauguration of a new BUA cement site in Sokoto scheduled for January 2024. He anticipates that this facility, with an annual production capacity of about six million tonnes, will contribute to expanding the market across the country.

Despite acknowledging some challenges, Rabiu expressed confidence in addressing and overcoming them. The BUA Group’s commitment to providing quality cement at an affordable price remains steadfast.

The purpose of Rabiu’s visit to the President was to extend festive greetings for Christmas and the New Year. Describing the encounter as pleasant, he remarked on President Tinubu’s relaxed and rejuvenated demeanor during the visit, emphasizing the positive atmosphere of the meeting.
