We Enter Lion’s Den, But Lion No Chop Us — IVD Reacts To Blessing CEO’s Release

Nigerian businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, has expressed excitement following the reported release of his partner, relationship therapist and social media personality Blessing CEO, from detention.

IVD celebrated the development by sharing a video of Blessing CEO on his TikTok page, accompanied by a caption expressing relief over the outcome of their difficult experience.

“We enter lion’s den but lion no chop us,” he wrote, sparking reactions among social media users.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Nollywood actress Doris Ogala also confirmed Blessing CEO’s release in an Instagram post on Saturday, sharing her excitement over the development.

“Blessing CEO is finally out; thank you, Jesus,” Ogala wrote while sharing a video call involving the influencer.

Blessing CEO’s release comes after months in detention following her arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in June 2026 over three separate fraud-related cases.

The charges reportedly involve alleged sums of ₦36 million, ₦69.15 million and ₦13 million. The cases relate to property transactions and donations reportedly collected after she claimed to be battling stage-four breast cancer.

The influencer pleaded not guilty to the charges, and the allegations remain subject to judicial determination.

Meanwhile, Blessing CEO has also been at the centre of public attention following reports of the death of her son, Bryan Onyedikachi, while she was in detention.

During a phone conversation with Ogala, Blessing reportedly confirmed the loss but denied authorising Amira Agiye to announce her son’s death on her behalf.

She also reportedly denied giving anyone permission to solicit financial assistance to meet her bail conditions, insisting that she should be the person to communicate such information publicly.

The circumstances surrounding her release and the ongoing legal proceedings have continued to attract attention on social media, with supporters and followers reacting to IVD’s celebratory message and the latest developments involving the influencer.
