Expressing his endorsement for the establishment of the National Institute of Progressive Studies, Tinubu welcomed members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) during their meeting on Thursday in Lagos.
Tinubu highlighted the Institute’s envisioned role in conducting thorough research, educating all party members on democratic principles and good governance, and establishing a distinctive identity for the party.
In his address, the President acknowledged the historical challenges faced by democracy but expressed optimism about a promising future for the country. He affirmed his commitment to supporting a robust and ideologically-driven democracy that is progressive, inclusive, and dedicated to eradicating poverty while ensuring quality education for Nigerian children.
Tinubu stressed the importance of collaboration with various government branches, commending the party leadership for its diligent efforts in advancing these essential ideals.
