What A Man! – Lady Amazed As Stranger Returns Her Phone After Losing His Own

A Nigerian woman has shared an inspiring encounter with a stranger who returned her lost phone after she misplaced it while on her way to church in Lagos.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the woman recounted the experience in a video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, explaining that she only realised her phone was missing shortly after alighting from a car.

She said she immediately called her number, only for a man who had found the device to answer the call and ask her to come to his location to collect it.

“I just lost my phone. I was going to church and when I got down from the car, I started looking for my phone. It was like a movie, and I started calling the number, and this guy picked it up and said I should come and meet him where he is,” she recounted.

The woman said she was particularly surprised by the man’s honesty after discovering that he had also lost his own phone the previous week.

According to her, the person who found the man’s phone did not return it, yet he chose to return hers despite having no personal phone at the time.

“This guy also lost his phone last week, and the person that picked it up didn’t return it. He doesn’t even have a phone and yet he returned my phone back to me. He’s kind. I’m so surprised that we still have nice, good people in our country,” she said.

The experience left the woman impressed and prompted her to reflect on the importance of choosing kindness despite experiencing wrongdoing from others.

She noted that the man could have decided to keep her phone because someone had previously kept his, but instead, he chose to do what he believed was right.

The woman expressed appreciation for his honesty and kindness while also praising people from Kogi State.
