According to reports, the dead students, identified as Emmanuella, a business administration student, Mercy, a pharmacy student, and 200-level political science student Obidiaso Chidera, were discovered in the Goodluck Hostel in Anambra State.
Eyewitnesses claim that the three students’ bodies were discovered after some other students who had not seen them inquired at the lodge. After knocking on the door repeatedly and getting no response, the students decided to break it open. When they opened it, they discovered three dead bodies—two on the beds in the room and one in the kitchen.
In a statement made public, the school administration confirmed the incident but expressed shock that some students were still residing in their hostels after the school had already closed in August. Security personnel are looking into the situation, according to school officials, and the findings will be made public.
