Speaking during an appearance on Politics Today on Thursday, the Edo State governor criticized key opposition figures, including Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rotimi Amaechi, claiming they had previously failed the country.

Okpebholo maintained that Tinubu’s policies and achievements have brought notable changes to Nigeria, which he believes will earn the president a second term in office.

He also attributed the country’s ongoing insecurity to what he described as “evil forces,” alleging that such elements are being supported to undermine the government and create the impression that the administration is underperforming.

According to him, Tinubu’s track record and policy outcomes already position him strongly for re-election. He further questioned who among the opposition candidates could outperform the president, insisting that his rivals lack the credibility to do so.
