While emphasizing that he holds no grudges against Nigerian men or women, Timaya stated his current reluctance to date Nigerian women.
During a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos, Timaya shared, “If I were a Nigerian woman, I wouldn’t date a Nigerian man. Presently, I can’t engage in a relationship with a Nigerian woman. My current partner isn’t Nigerian.
“I refrain from dating Nigerian women because we share similar backgrounds and upbringings. Our relationship would resemble a cat-and-mouse game, marked by excessive deceit. We wouldn’t experience peace; the relationship would be too toxic.”
