Mohbad, the musician, passed away on September 12, 2023, and was laid to rest the following day. His death has sparked calls for investigations to uncover the circumstances surrounding it.

In an interview with Punch in Abuja on Wednesday, Falana disclosed that he had met with the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, who assured him that an investigation had been initiated.

Falana commended the youth for their concern over the musician’s passing and assured them that those responsible for Mohbad’s death would be held accountable.

He stated, “We commend Nigerian youths for peacefully protesting and demanding justice. I assure them and other concerned citizens that we will cooperate with the coroner’s office to reveal those who are both directly and indirectly responsible for the suspicious death of Mohbad.”
