Wike made these remarks on Saturday while receiving Adamawa State Governor, Umaru Fintiri, Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, and other members of the G5 group. He warned against making empty threats, stating that the true measure of relevance would soon be evident.

Speaking to the audience, Wike said, “Don’t think for a second they are fighting me. I’m too big for that. If you don’t recognize someone who is bigger than you, then you’re unwell. I am far bigger than all of them put together.”

He further dismissed any threats made by others, labeling them as insignificant. “Let nobody issue any threats; they are all empty. Very soon, we will see who really matters.”

Wike also reiterated his stance on party control, saying, “I said it before—nobody will take over the structure of this party. You can have all the money, but if you don’t have the right influence, it won’t matter.”
