Wike Set To Visit Dunamis Church, Says Tinubu Government Made Pedestrian Bridge Approval Possible
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has announced plans to visit Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja, where he intends to highlight the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
According to Bush Radio Academy, Wike disclosed this on Thursday, October 15, 2026, during his induction into the Idoma Hall of Fame. He said the church’s Senior Pastor, Paul Enenche, had invited him to commission a pedestrian bridge constructed by the church.
The minister stated that he would use the occasion to explain what he described as the benefits of the Tinubu administration, claiming that approval for the pedestrian bridge was not granted until the current government assumed office.
“I’m going to Dunamis Church. Pastor Enenche invited me to commission their pedestrian bridge. I’ll go there and speak to the people and tell them there are lots of advantages under this government,” Wike said.
He added, “I’ll tell them nobody approved this bridge until we came. Yes! It’s correct.”
The pedestrian bridge was constructed by Dunamis International Gospel Centre, with its commissioning scheduled for October 30, 2026.
Wike’s announcement came a day after he attended the inauguration of Tinubu’s Presidential Campaign Council at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
During Wednesday’s event, the former Rivers State governor reaffirmed his support for Tinubu’s re-election bid, pledging to mobilise voters in Rivers State and the Federal Capital Territory in support of the president.
