On Monday, Labour Party’s Edo Chairman, Mr. Kelly Ogbalo, alleged in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria that their party would have clinched victory if the election had been free and fair. He pointed out widespread irregularities, including blatant vote-buying, which he accused security agencies of ignoring.

Reno Omokri, after offering his take on the Edo poll, couldn’t resist mocking the Labour Party’s claims. In a post on his social media platforms, Omokri quipped:

“I saw something online yesterday, and it looked like a JAMB score. I thought, ‘JAMB results were released four months ago in May, so why am I seeing a result in September?’ It was only when someone pointed out that it wasn’t a JAMB result—it was the Labour Party’s total votes during the #EdoDecides24.”

Continuing his humorous jab, Omokri added: “With that JAMB score? Maybe they were hoping for direct entry!”
