Woman Reveals Shocking Prophecy Before First-Ever UK Journey, Still Goes Ahead

A woman in her 60s has reportedly returned safely from her first trip to the United Kingdom despite receiving a frightening warning from a prophet shortly before her departure.

According to a man who shared the experience online, the woman, who is a friend of his sister’s mother, obtained a six-month UK visit visa earlier this year to travel to the country and visit her daughter.

The trip was reportedly intended to allow her to participate in Omugwo, a Nigerian cultural practice in which a mother or close relative stays with a new mother to provide support and assist with caring for the mother and baby after childbirth.

The narrator said that about two weeks before the woman was scheduled to travel, she visited her prophet to inform him about the planned journey and seek prayers.

Following the prayer session, the prophet allegedly warned her against making the trip, using the Yoruba expression “Ọ̀nà ò dá,” which means “the road is not good.”

According to the account, the prophet further claimed that he was seeing blood in connection with the journey. The warning reportedly left the woman frightened and uncertain about whether she should proceed with her travel plans.

Despite her concerns, her daughter continued to reassure her that she would be safe and eventually persuaded her to make the journey.

The woman subsequently travelled to the United Kingdom, spent time with her daughter and completed her planned visit without any reported incident.

The narrator said she returned home safely on Monday and appeared healthy and strong despite the frightening prediction she had received before leaving Nigeria.

Reflecting on the experience, the man suggested that cancelling the trip solely because of the warning could have prevented the woman from fulfilling what was reportedly her first opportunity to visit the United Kingdom.

The incident has generated discussion about the influence of religious predictions on personal decisions, particularly when individuals are faced with warnings concerning travel, health or other major life events.
