According to a Nigerian pharmacist who intervened, the young lady had attempted to end her life following her boyfriend’s decision to break up with her.
“It’s heartbreaking to see someone contemplate suicide over a relationship breakup,” the pharmacist expressed.
The incident occurred around 8:30 pm when the woman, in distress over her relationship ending, consumed bleach in an attempt to end her life. Prompt action was taken, with the pharmacist administering activated charcoal before referring her to the hospital for further treatment.
This serves as a reminder that suicide should never be considered a solution to relationship problems.
