The World Bank has granted Oyo State N3.5 billion to renovate 105 public primary schools across the state. Governor Seyi Makinde announced this during a ceremony in Ibadan where symbolic cheques were presented to school representatives.

Makinde emphasized the grant’s focus on critical renovations across all selected schools in the state’s three senatorial districts, urging quality work to ensure effective outcomes and public appreciation.

The initiative, part of the Better Education Service Delivery for All – Additional Funding project, aims to enhance educational access and literacy, benefiting Oyo, Adamawa, and Katsina states while promoting accountability in basic education in Nigeria.
