Governor Buni delivered this charge following his presiding over the swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries and the Permanent Member of the State Pilgrims Commission.

The two newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are Alhaji Musa Audu Fara-fara and Mohammed M. Balumi, while Babagana M. Bukar took the oath of office as a Permanent Member of the commission.

Emphasizing the importance of their roles, Governor Buni stated that the elevation of these officers aims to enhance effective and efficient service delivery, motivate hard work, and address existing vacancies within the civil service.

Governor Buni underscored that the appointments were made based on merit, assuring the state’s civil servants that the government would consistently recognize and reward diligent public officers committed to enhancing service delivery.

He affirmed, “This administration will continually equip and reposition the Public Service to be more responsive to our current demands for speedy and effective implementation of people-oriented policies and programmes.”

Governor Buni reiterated his commitment to an open-door policy in decision-making processes, emphasizing the administration’s dedication to revitalizing the civil service for optimal performance.

Concluding his address, Governor Buni directed the Head of Service to formulate a succession plan by providing training and retraining for middle cadre staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
