The governor’s Director-General of Press and Media, Mamman Mohammed, revealed this in a statement on Tuesday.

As outlined in the statement, an immediate sum of N2 million was allocated for the family’s urgent needs, along with an additional N1 million earmarked for the children’s school fees.

Governor Buni also sanctioned N1 million for each of the six other security personnel who sustained injuries, and an extra N2 million to cover their medical expenses.

The governor’s support extended to providing food items for the bereaved family and the injured individuals. The Emir of Damaturu, His Royal Highness Alh.

Shehu Hashim ll Ibn Umar El-Kanemi, along with the Special Adviser on Religious Affairs to the Governor, Ustaz Babagana Malam Kyari, presented these provisions to the late policeman’s family.
