A South-West advocacy group known as the Youth Rebirth Progressives Union has restated its backing for the ministerial candidacy of Hon. Dauda Adamu. The group is urging President Bola Tinubu to appoint Adamu to the vacant position in the Youth Ministry.

The group asserted that Adamu possesses the necessary qualifications to assume this esteemed position due to his extensive involvement within the APC and his notable contributions to both the party and Nigeria.

According to Lawson, Dauda Adamu, hailing from Taraba State, stands as a devoted card-carrying member of the APC with a wealth of experience in party politics at various levels, from local to international.

Lawson further emphasized that Adamu’s steadfast commitment is evident through his active participation in numerous party responsibilities, his integral contributions to strategic party assignments, and his involvement in pivotal campaign committees at national, state, and local levels, which have earned him admiration from youths in the region.

In his statement, Lawson declared, “Today, as youths from the South-West region, we confidently assert that Hon. Dauda Adamu possesses the essential qualities to lead and represent us as a unified Youth body. Adamu has consistently demonstrated his dedication to our party and has played significant roles in the success of both President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2022/2023 campaign and former President Muhammadu Buhari’s triumphant 2019 campaign.”

The statement highlighted that Adamu had notably served as a Special Assistant to the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the APC, where he distinguished himself from the beginning to the conclusion of his term.
