At the ceremony in Ilorin, the governor congratulated the new council leaders, their families, party officials, and community members who contributed to their success. He emphasized the importance of setting realistic goals, being mindful of their legacies, and remaining responsive to the needs of the populace.

Abdulrazaq acknowledged the current economic transitions affecting the country, urging the chairpersons to be sensitive to these challenges and avoid self-indulgence while the people face hardships. He encouraged them to foster creativity and cooperation within their local governments to achieve greater results.

Wishing them success, he stated, “Prove to the people that you truly deserve to occupy this esteemed office.”

Sunday Fagbemi, the party chairman, praised the citizens for their support and commended the governor for his leadership. He remarked, “This is a great moment. We have cemented the foundation for the good of Kwara. Our agenda is to develop the state and elevate it to the next level.”

Majeed Podo, the chairman of Ilorin South Local Government, expressed the commitment of his colleagues to work diligently for the benefit of their communities.
