Reno’s recent comments were in response to a social media critic, known to be an ‘Obidient‘ (a term used for supporters of Peter Obi). Omokri, known for his fearless stance on political and societal issues, stated: “Thank you for your feedback. It’s essential to be discerning about who one throws jabs at. Pastor William Kumuyi is at the admirable age of eighty-two and still stands for hours, delivering sermons with eloquence and vigor.”

He further added, contrasting Kumuyi’s age with that of Peter Obi, the former Governor of Anambra State: “From what I see on your profile, you’re an avid supporter of Peter Obi, who is twenty years junior to Pastor Kumuyi. However, it’s remarkable that despite this age gap, Pastor Kumuyi’s voice retains more strength, clarity, and resonance compared to Peter Obi’s. This is something we give thanks to God for.”
