Fubara made this declaration over the weekend during a reception for new members who joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Emerengwa, Iguruta, Ikwerre local government area.

He noted that preparations for the elections were well underway and encouraged party members to actively participate at the unit and ward levels. The governor urged residents to disregard any opposition to the elections, suggesting that such critics had already accepted defeat.

Fubara also invited more people to join the PDP, promising that all new members would receive equal opportunities. He urged his supporters to avoid engaging in negative rhetoric, which he described as a sign of frustration and poor conduct, and to focus instead on constructive politics.

Fubara emphasized, “We are committed to good governance and that is our priority. There is no division among us; everyone is welcome to join us. Support the party from your wards and units. Regardless of when you join, you will have the same rights as long-standing members. This is the ideal time to be part of our movement.”

He reassured that his administration remains dedicated to advancing good governance and state development and called on all Rivers stakeholders to support his objectives. The governor asked party members to remain firm, supportive, and patient, emphasizing that his administration is committed to justice and good governance.
