Speaking in a recent interview on TVC’s Your View, Iyabo revealed that despite their strong bond, she and Paulo have no intention of getting married. She highlighted the importance of maintaining individuality and personal space in their relationship. According to her, whenever she feels the need to be alone, she simply returns to her own home—something Paulo fully understands and respects.

She said:

“Due to the nature of my work, I’m a workaholic—and so is he. That Igbo man loves to work.
There are times when I just need my space, so I pack my bags and go back to my place. We never argue about it because he gets it.”

Clarifying their relationship further, she stated:

“We’re not interested in marriage.”

In a related development, Iyabo Ojo expressed deep gratitude to God following the marriage of her daughter, Priscilla, to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.

Taking to her Instagram page, the actress reflected on her journey as a single mother, sharing that her unwavering faith through years of struggle had finally been rewarded. She encouraged other single mothers to draw hope and strength from her experience, reminding them that light awaits at the end of every tunnel.

She wrote:

“Dear friends, fans, and family, I stand here today full of joy and gratitude. These words come from the depths of my heart.
I’ve poured out my heart to my Creator, and He heard me.
Years ago, I would say, ‘You’ll pass through tunnels, but there’s light ahead.’ I was preaching to myself, building my own faith—and I’m grateful that many single mothers found hope in my journey.
Today, I can proudly say that my faith has been rewarded.”

She went on to thank Juma Jux for his love and devotion to her daughter:

“You’re not just a son-in-law; you are MY SON. Thank you for loving Priscilla and for being the amazing man that you are.”

Addressing her daughter directly, she added:

“@its.priscy, my beautiful daughter, thank you for making me proud. Your home is blessed, and your children will bring you pride. You are truly my jewel of inestimable value.”

She concluded with a heartfelt prayer for her supporters:
