Stop Whining, Nigerians Are Cashing Out – Onanuga Tells Critics Amid Soaring Living Costs
Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, has called on Nigerians to take advantage of the opportunities arising from the President’s economic policies to better their lives.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Onanuga made this remark on Saturday in response to a viral video featuring a Nigerian businessman who claimed to have earned ₦200 million despite widespread complaints about economic hardship.
The businessman, whose testimony was shared on Onanuga’s official Twitter page, said he capitalized on a trade agreement initiated during President Tinubu’s first official visit to Saudi Arabia. The deal enabled the export of agricultural products and meat from Nigeria to the Middle East.
He revealed that his business currently employs 500 people and regularly exports to Saudi Arabia. He encouraged fellow Nigerians to explore the openings created through the President’s foreign engagements.
Reacting to the video, Onanuga urged Nigerians to move beyond complaints about inflation and tough living conditions, and instead, embrace the emerging business prospects under Tinubu’s leadership.
“While many continue to lament the high cost of living, some enterprising Nigerians are tapping into the opportunities provided by President Tinubu’s administration to create wealth. This video is a clear example—and a guide on how others can do the same,” he said.
