AAC Presidential Candidate, Omoyele Sowore Condemns The Re-arrest Of Chude Nnamdi

AAC Presidential candidate in the just concluded general elections, Omoyele Sowore has reacted to the re-arrest of a popular Obi supporter, Chude Nnamdi by police officers.

Recall that the vocal Obidient on Twitter, Chude was arrested by the DSS a few weeks back and slept in custody for days. He was released after much intervention from people like Obi, Sowore, and Aisha Yesufu amongst others. Although he was told to apologize for the tweet he wrote on Twitter.

Bushradiogist gathered that he was re-arrested by Police Officers at 12:00 p.m. after reporting at the police headquarters in Abuja.

He was told that the Businessman and oil magnate, Emeka Offor sued him for defamation.

Presidential candidate of AAC, Omoyele Sowore in his recent tweet condemned the re-arrest of the young man by Abuja police command.

In his words, he wrote:

Nigeria police must free @chude__as there is no criminal offence involved in the so-called “defamation” of Emeka Offor, if Offor feels he was defamed he should file a civil lawsuit. Stop using @policeng for dirty jobs. The outgoing IG must desist henceforth from criminalising freedom of speech. #Revolutionnow
