The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has revealed that President Tinubu made attempts to reach out to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar after the 2023 presidential election.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Bwala made the disclosure during an interview shared by Symfoni TV, where he recounted events that reportedly took place shortly after Tinubu assumed office.

According to him, the President sent emissaries to Atiku as part of efforts to open communication lines with the former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), despite the political tension that followed the election.

Bwala said he had direct knowledge of the incident because he was still closely associated with Atiku at the time. He claimed that the emissaries visited Atiku’s residence but were denied entry.

He further stated that Atiku allegedly instructed that the gate should remain closed when the visitors arrived.

Bwala said the incident demonstrated that Tinubu had made efforts to initiate reconciliation or dialogue after taking office.

“When President Tinubu took the oath, at the time I was with Atiku. I can tell you this because I was closer to Atiku. Men from President Tinubu approached Atiku. Emissaries went to meet Atiku, and when they got to his gate, he ordered that the gate should not be opened for them. So Tinubu made the effort,” he said.
