Caleb Mutfwang has dismissed allegations that certain aspirants were imposed during the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary elections, describing the claims as false and completely unfounded.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In a statement issued through his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, the governor denied influencing the emergence of any aspirant or candidate in the elections.

Mutfwang maintained that he has always upheld democratic principles and fairness throughout his political career, including during his time in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He urged the public to ignore the rumours, insisting that the allegations do not reflect his commitment to peaceful, transparent, and credible electoral processes in Plateau State.

According to the statement, Governor Mutfwang has never imposed any political aspirant against the wishes of the people and has no intention of doing so.

The statement also called on party members and residents to disregard what it described as fabricated and misleading reports.

It added that the governor has consistently encouraged party faithful to maintain peace and discipline throughout the electoral process, stressing that the peace, unity, and stability of Plateau State remain top priorities of his administration.

The government further described the reports as false and deceptive, reiterating Mutfwang’s long-standing support for free, fair, and credible elections across the state.
