Peller Transfers ₦1M To Groundnut Seller, Then Demands His Money Back

Nigerian TikToker Peller has sparked reactions online after a video surfaced showing him transferring ₦1 million to a woman who sells groundnuts and her daughter during a livestream, before briefly requesting that the money be refunded.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the incident occurred during a livestream in which the woman presented groundnuts and sugar for sale. Peller initially asked about the value of the items, and she reportedly stated that they were worth ₦3,000.

The TikToker subsequently asked her to name the amount she wanted for the items, leading to an unusual agreement of ₦1 million. Peller then instructed that the groundnuts and sugar should be distributed.

However, the situation took an unexpected turn after the payment was made. Peller reportedly became displeased with the reaction of the woman’s daughter, whom he felt did not show sufficient appreciation for the gesture.

He subsequently requested that the ₦1 million be returned, saying his decision was influenced by what he described as the daughter’s lukewarm response to the money.

The woman, apparently concerned by the development, reportedly attempted to kneel before Peller as she appealed to him. Following the reaction, the TikToker eventually reconsidered his request for a refund.

The incident has since generated discussions online, with social media users expressing different opinions about Peller’s decision to give the money, his subsequent request for a refund and the reaction from the woman and her daughter.

The development comes shortly after Peller and his wife, Jarvis, reportedly received a ₦400 million mansion as a wedding gift from real estate businessman King Mohamed Adah, popularly known as King Ochacho.

The luxury property was reportedly presented to the couple during their traditional wedding ceremony in Lagos as a gift from Ochacho and his family.
