I Cried So Much – Mr Macaroni Gets Emotional Over Support He Received During Hard Times
Nigerian skit maker and actor Mr Macaroni has expressed appreciation to individuals who supported him financially and emotionally during what he described as some of the most difficult periods of his life.
In a Facebook post, the entertainer revealed that he became deeply emotional after receiving several messages from people who reminded him of the ways he had helped them at different points in their lives.
According to Bush Radio Academy, Mr Macaroni said the messages made him reflect on his own experiences and realise that he had been paying more attention to his struggles and losses than to the fact that he had survived challenging moments.
The actor explained that he had always believed that whatever God gave him was meant to be shared with others. He noted that he was more accustomed to giving than asking for assistance and said that even when he borrowed money, he made it a point to repay his debts with interest.
However, he disclosed that there were periods in recent years when he found himself struggling financially and having to seek help from different people.
“I cried so much last night and this morning. I have seen lots of messages from different people about things I did for them at different times, most of which I don’t even remember,” he said.
Mr Macaroni added that he had always believed his blessings were meant to be passed on to others.
“The truth is I have always believed in my heart that the only reason God has given to me is to give it back,” he stated.
He also expressed gratitude to an unnamed individual who repeatedly assisted him in settling his financial obligations. According to the actor, the person preferred to remain anonymous but continued to provide support when he needed it.
“God used one person to settle all that I owed! And this help came over and over again!” he said.
Mr Macaroni said the assistance restored his hope during a period when he felt that everything was falling apart.
He also acknowledged the support of his close associates and members of Mr Macaroni & Friends, as well as music executive Don Jazzy, whom he said had supported him since his university days.
The entertainer further appreciated footballer Victor Osimhen and Pastor Bolaji for their contributions during his difficult period.
Speaking about his present situation, Mr Macaroni said he is now in a better place and is focused on activities that bring him happiness. He added that despite the challenges he experienced after helping others, he has no regrets about extending kindness to people.
According to him, the difficulties he encountered taught him important lessons and gave him a clearer perspective on life. He concluded by encouraging people to continue showing love and kindness despite the challenges around them.
“May the love in our hearts be forever greater than the hate in the world,” he said.
