Lady Shares Experience With Oil And Gas Worker Boyfriend After He Spent One Week At Her House

A woman has shared an account of her experience with her boyfriend, who reportedly stayed at her residence for a week while carrying out an official assignment in her state.

According to the account, the man, who works with a popular oil and gas company, chose to stay with his girlfriend instead of booking a hotel during the work-related trip.

The incident reportedly occurred one evening when the woman returned from work at about 10 p.m. and found her boyfriend lying on the bed with the plate he had used for breakfast still beside him.

She explained that the man told her he was hungry and expected her to prepare something for him. However, having returned home late after a long day at work, she said she was too exhausted to cook.

The woman reportedly told her boyfriend that it was already late and that she needed to rest because of her fatigue.

Rather than wait for her to prepare a meal, the man allegedly got up, went outside and purchased Gala and a bottle of Coke to satisfy his hunger. He subsequently returned home and ate the snacks.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the incident has generated conversations about consideration, shared domestic responsibilities and expectations between couples, particularly when both partners have demanding work schedules.

While some may view the man’s decision to purchase food for himself as a practical way of dealing with hunger, the experience has also raised questions about whether domestic chores should automatically fall on one partner, especially when that person is equally tired from work.
