The Indigenous People of Biafra, is a separatist group based in the southeastern region of Nigeria have has been involved in various activities of recent and has sparked controversy amongst Nigerians.
In support of the detained activist, Nnamdi Kanu, a number of followers and supporters, including Simon Ekpa, have declared a one-week sit-at-home demonstration in the southeastern region of the country. Although various deaths have been recorded across the 5 south-eastern states as IPOB’s continue to gun down Igbo’s reluctant to observe the sit at home.
Deji Adeyanju has revealed that majority of politicians from the South-East are afraid to condemn such barbaric act including the Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi.

He also commended Ifeanyi Ubah a senator in Anambra for taking the courageous move to put an end the sit-at-home in the State.
“What Ifeanyi Ubah did 2days ago in Anambra is very courageous. Almost all Igbo leaders are scarred of IPOB & other criminal groups in the region including the Okwute of tribalism and religious bigotry.”
“IPOB must completely put an end to the Sit-At Home in the SE. And Tinubu should release Nnamdi Kanu. His continued detention achieves absolutely nothing.”
