Justice Abba Bello Mohammed, in his lead judgment, highlighted that while the LP did make broad allegations of irregularities, vote suppression, and corrupt practices, particularly in states such as Rivers, Benue, Lagos, Taraba, Imo, and Osun, they did not clearly indicate the particular polling units affected by these alleged malpractices.

Furthermore, Justice Mohammed remarked that the LP was unsuccessful in substantiating their claims of overvoting against the All Progressives Congress (APC) and in determining the exact margin by which their votes were purportedly reduced.

This latest ruling by the tribunal offers clarity on one of the many contentious issues surrounding the recent election results and underscores the importance of precise evidence in such cases.
