Bwala highlighted the overwhelming number of registered Nigerian delegates at the conference, emphasizing the country’s significant presence, with the largest delegation from Africa and the third-largest overall, trailing only China and Brazil. According to his tweet, Nigeria registered 1,411 delegates, of which 821 are classified as “party” or official delegates.
He stated; “COP28 DUBAI 2023 FACTS “Nigeria has the largest number of registered delegates from Africa at the ongoing COP28 in Dubai. It also has the 3rd largest number of foreign delegates after China & Brazil Nigeria registered 1,411 delegates out of which 821 are “party” or official delegates.”
