Expressing his frustration, the SDP candidate appealed to security agencies to apprehend anyone participating in protests under his name or on behalf of his party. In his statement, Ajaka declared, “I have just been informed of a planned protest by some people claiming to be members of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) or acting on my instruction. I did not authorize any protest in Lokoja or Abuja tomorrow (Saturday). Anybody protesting in my name should be arrested.”

Ajaka accused the alleged protesters of being agents of Governor Yahaya Bello, suggesting a motive to sow confusion in the state and potentially in Abuja. He urged security agencies to be vigilant and take swift action against those involved in any unauthorized protests, emphasizing, “Anybody seen with SDP vest tomorrow (Saturday) protesting, they should arrest them. They are agents of Yahaya Bello.
