Addressing a gathering during his visit to APC chieftain Victor Giadom in Gokana Local Government Area, Wike downplays critics as “hungry noisemakers on the road” and assures that the true political giants will be revealed in due time. Dismissing the influence of social media, he emphasizes the importance of working for the people rather than being swayed by online comments.

Wike’s words reflect his pragmatic approach to politics: “We have not reached that time. When the time comes, we will know who is who.” Despite the ongoing political clashes with Governor Sim Fubara and President Bola Tinubu’s intervention, Wike remains resolute in his stance, declaring support for Tinubu and expressing no regrets for working against his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the 2023 presidential election.

In his address, Wike emphasizes the significance of grassroots engagement in politics, asserting that elections are won by connecting with the people rather than relying on social media.
