BNXN, formerly known as Buju, responded to a comment from a netizen who labeled him as “mid.” In his reply, BNXN implied that the netizen, being a fan of Davido, lacked credibility in discussing music matters.
The netizen, identified as @lifeofolaa on X, made the remark in response to a post about BNXN, stating, “He’s mid abeg.”
Expressing his discontent, BNXN retorted, “You’re out of line. Considering your allegiance, you shouldn’t comment on anything music-related. Fem!” [sic].
Although the tweet was later deleted, it sparked criticism from netizens who condemned BNXN for disrespecting Davido during the exchange with a fan.
@heiskaptain commented, “This disrespect towards Davido is outrageous, imagine Buju throwing indirect shots at Davido.”
Another user, Big Ayo, expressed, “Buju’s tweet was out of line!!! Deleting it doesn’t change anything. Openly disrespecting Davido is unacceptable and nonsensical. From where to where? Does he think Davido is Ruger??”
